Acclaimed violinist and composer Alicia Svigals’ Klezmer Fiddle Express to perform at the Yiddish Book Center, September 9, 2012.

Alicia Svigals, a founder of the Klezmatics and the all-women band Mikveh, will perform at the Yiddish Book Center on Sunday, September 9th.

Considered by many to be the world's foremost klezmer fiddler, Svigals has almost single-handedly revived klezmer fiddle in the past decade. She has taught, toured and recorded with violinist Itzhak Perlman.
