Event Description

"Eternal Ingenue" is a representation of Geoffrey Houghton’s latest works related to Victorian characters who are endearingly innocent and wholesome. A self-taught artist, Geoff enjoys creating watercolor in a vivid and bold way that has been referred to as a sub-genre of Steampunk. You'll discover his art focuses primarily on eccentric and enchanting damsels that portray a different time, technology and fashion. Geoff's inspiration stems from the work of El Greco, Alphonse Mucha and Gustav Klimt, however it was Amedeo Modigliani's unique style of elongated figurative features that became the foundation for his recent work.
