The voices of women in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction speak out to the community of their struggles, their desires for a better life, and reconnection with their communities. In a series of scenes including poetry, dramatizations, dance and music, you will hear from women whose voices have been silenced. Now they speak to you of their lives, and their goals of a future with their families, with their children, and with new-found connections in their communities. Join us for a night with the immensely creative and strong women of Gándara House in Holyoke. You will be informed, entertained and captivated by the powerful voices of people who can teach you about life from their perspective, in their own voices.
The performance will feature an exhibit of artwork by the Gándara community.
