FIRST GENERATION BENEFIT CONCERT 2013 7:00-9:00 pm The Academy of Music in Northampton, MA.
Please join us for this incredible evening of music and theater, and to support the First Generation performing arts and leadership youth program in Springfield. Six internationally known musicians are coming together to Support First Generation!
Charles Neville of the Neville Brothers, Evelyn Harris, acclaimed acapella singer, formerly of Sweet Honey in the Rock, Jo Sallins, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Avery Sharpe, master jazz bassist, Youssoupha Sidibe, Senegalese kora player, Tony Vacca, of World Rhythms Ensemble, and a sneak preview of First Generation's New Work. Tickets available through the Academy of Music online or by phone Tues-Fri 3:00-6:00 pm.
