Event Description
Jack O'Connor, who worked as a police officer at UMass Amherst for many years, was working in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina devastated his adopted home in 2005. The storm (and its aftermath) brought much pain and suffering -- but also brought out the goodness in people.
