Event Description

Evelyn Pye’s large-scale paintings envelop the viewer and thrust him or her into the midst of the landscape. Working close to home, the images of reflections in a pond or the upper reaches of a tree create an immersion in space and form for the viewer. Janet Walerstein Winston's new exhibit consists entirely of monotype prints combining geometric shapes with layers of ink applied in a fluid painterly manner. Many of these images reflect the importance of home, her center of comfort.
