Constance Hamilton: These recent paintings are about recording the many dimensions of desire. It's a strong force, and ever-present. How do we tame it; how do we honor it?
Larry Smith: I adjust the painted forms over and over until they settle into place on the rectangle, and form a color harmony; until they feel right.
