Event Description

The Wesleyan University Orchestra, Nadya Potemkina, conductor, joins the Smith College Orchestra, Jonathan Hirsh, conductor, in performances of Joan Tower’s Made in America (2004) and the Symphony #1 in A-flat “Afro-American” (1930) by William Grant Still. Featuring the winner of the 2018 Concerto Competition, Elizabeth Davidson-Blythe ‘21, in The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
