OPENING RECEPTION: November 13 5-8pm
Easthampton based emerging artist Sam Pirnak was born and raised in New York following the legacy of Neo-Expressionism and the 1980s downtown cultural aesthetic.
The ten mixed-media glass panels in this exhibit evoke a disturbing and visceral reaction in the viewer, while also offering a wry sensibility implicit in the subject and its portrayal.
Employing found objects and often thick and energetic strokes combined with vivid colors the peices reveal a child-like simplicity while treating the themes of innocence and loss.
Sam Pirnak has decided to hide the list of guests.
