Event Description

Photographer Sarah Platanitis will exhibit, “Trekking in Color: A Photo Story” in the Greater Easthampton Chamber of Commerce Gallery from March 21 through May 17, 2012.

Sarah Platanitis’ photographs capture a journey through vibrant color images. The underlying thread in these photographs is from the viewpoint of a wandering traveler catching moments in time as she is passing from one place to another. The images were taken in Brattleboro, New York City, Baltimore, Washington DC, Salamanca and Numazu. They seize an instant in time and evoke the question of who is this peripatetic character and what is she seeking to find in these found moments and scenes.
