"I have been painting local scenes for over 20 years now in a variety of medium with the past 15 years devoted to watercolors. I live in Deerfield and am a life member of the Deerfield Valley Art Association and also belong to other watercolor societies based in New England. I am largely a self taught artist but have attended art studies at Greenfield Community College and I have taken classes taught by other local artists.

"My Watercolors usually depict common New England Scenes, of people engaged in common activities of the area. Many locals will recognize these places and activities; however, recent travels have lightened the colors of my palette to capture the clear light, vivid greens and transparent seas of the tropics. More importantly, my paintings are the result of daily observation of my surroundings, the people, nature and how they all interact with one another."
