An invitation

Hello!
One year after VAS was created there are now 452 of us that make up this network of creativity in the valley. This makes me want to do something
together. And invite others. And celebrate.

So I invite you to do one of the following things in the next week, document it with photo, video or words and post it to the VAS Forum:

Maybe it's something you've never made or done before, or maybe the next drawing in that series you haven't worked on in a while, or a new
friend, or a story or song.

HOST AN ART PARTY

It could be small and ya'll make something together or something grand
with strange costumes, or some kind of magical spectacle in a public
place. I think it ought to be colorful. And fun. You choose.

POST SOMETHING IN A PUBLIC PLACE

Like a favorite quote, a proclamation, a photograph or a secret.

GIVE SOMETHING AWAY

A gift, or a gesture or advise, something you love, something you don't
want, something you made, something you know someone else needs.

This is an opportunity to join 452 other people (maybe even more!) in a week of creative action. Well for that
matter, Valley Art Share is an opportunity to join 452 people (maybe
more!) in creative action EVERY DAY. Look out for the documentation of your actions and others on the main page of VAS.

As VAS enters it's second year we'll be shifting things around a little
bit to make way for new tools, activities, assignments, blogs, and
events. I hope it's been useful and inspiring to you thus far. If
you have ideas for what you'd like to see happen in the valley and on
the website post it here.

We're so happy you're a part of VAS and look forward to the year to come!
