Hooray! I am making an album of original tunes. I've been writing and performing songs ever since I was a wee thing dancing with umbrellas and tutus on top of the backyard fence, and I am thrilled to finally be compiling and recording them for other ears. They are folky, jazzy, bluesy and souly kind of songs, and I've written them with my voice, piano, mandolin-banjo and guitar. They are inspired by the wonderous old vinyl scratchings of Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Leonard Cohen, Taj Mahal, Nick Drake and Otis Redding, and the more recent ramblings of Neko Case and Gillian Welch, to name a few.

The album will be engineered by the talented valley native Andrew Atkin and will feature a gaggle of lovely local artists such as Jessica Freeman, The Dire Honeys, Anneke Dunnington, and Maura Aziza Arraj. It will have a myriad of delicious sounds from voices of different colors, guitars, sitars, mandolins, banjos, mandolin-banjos, accordions, violins, flutes, pianos, and harmoniums.

Having these recordings will enable me to book more shows around the Pioneer Valley and beyond and bring more sweet sounds into the wild blue ether and to your ears! Please help me make all this a reality!
