Kirkland Ave Mural Project

The Kirkland Ave Project is a series of public art events, workshops, performances, and murals designed to bring people together to make art, think creatively, and build community in an alternative public space.

The mural was designed by Eben Archer Kling, produced by Commonwealth Center for Change (C3) under the direction of Haley Morgan, with financial support from Joe and Barbara Blumenthal and the Northampton Arts Council, as well as through individual donations. The mural was painted in 3 weeks in September-October 2009 by a team of 25 volunteers.
