A gala celebration of Greta Carey Month, featuring sweet and savory finger foods, wines, and music accompanied by live and silent bidding on a curated selection of oil paintings by the late artist, including landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, and local scenes. A curated selection of paintings by late artist Greta Carey (1910-2004) on view and open for silent bidding in the library's Neil Hammer Gallery. Opening Reception Tuesday, April 3, 7 pm. Artist Statement/Bio: The Greta Carey Project is a monthlong exhibit and major sale of the artist’s works to benefit the Williamsburg (MA) Libraries, Grange, and Historical Society.

Describe your organization or gallery: April 2018 is officially Greta Carey Month in Williamsburg. Events include exhibits, silent and live auctions, and receptions at Meekins Library, and a direct sale and exhibit at the Williamsburg Grange.
