Artist Statement/Bio

Puppets, dolls, paintings, prints: when I'm making these things I'm happy. I am an independent maker of cool stuff and work in collaboration with Double Edge Theatre on set paintings and art installations. I have a literary bent and tend toward the illustrational but feel that the best contemporary art exhibits create hands-on environments that are fun and exciting for all ages to explore and think about. I particularly enjoy blending visual art with literary experiences and humanities-based inquiry.
