Hitting the Ground Running as the new, part-tine coordinator for Valley Arts Share

I am back!

I just finished my 4th year at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and landed a part-time job (10 hours a week) as the coordinator of Valley Art Share. I in Conway full time now and ready to continue where Julia left off. She helped build our virtual presence. I would like to build our real presence so that we can move toward a more sustainable arts economy in Franklin, Hampshire and Hamden counties. Taking a stand for Artists' Free Speech

Today the Canal G allery took a stand for supporting Artists' Free Speech.

As tonight's opening reception for "All At Once" quickly approaches;

this morning an artist in the building voiced a concern over the explicit

nature of one piece. David Scher, the founder did not agree and asked

a few of us to discuss it with him. We shared the view that censorship
