Ashfield Community Theater
ACTh Summer Arts Program for Children

Full Day Visual & Performing Arts Education

Our core mission is to guide creative exploration and growth in a safe and fun environment, enriching the lives of children in the Hilltowns and beyond.

Since 2002 ACTh Summer Arts has provided families with a full day educational program centered on creative expression and learning in the arts. We strive to create unique and engaging programs that will inspire children to grow as artists. performers, and individuals. Programs are designed for children, ages 5-12, from all backgrounds and levels of experience.

A week at ACTh Summer Arts program is experiential and dynamic. We play, we learn, we get loud, we get dirty, we bravely take to the stage, we draw, paint, print, sculpt, and duct tape! (to name a few). It's a busy and fast paced program with focused activities and open ended learning. This is creative immersion and it's lots of fun!

Teaching Artist Bios:

Each week long sessions includes a morning and afternoon workshop-- one visual art topic and one theater/performance topic. Each workshop topic is lead by a different lead teacher. Our lead teachers are supported by an assistant teacher who assists for the full day. All teachers are highly experienced teaching artists who are skilled at leading children through varied, hands-on, and experiential activities. Group sizes are limited to 12-14 students.
