Artist Dana Wilde reiterates the importance of not waiting around for inspiration to strike. Inspiration, she says, comes occasionally, but don't rely on it. Beginning anything, sticking with it, and mastering a craft, whether it's visual art or music, is difficult. Cultivating tenacity over inspiration is the key and as she exposes her own experiences as a beginner, she concludes that she understands how hard it can be.
