Event Description
In this workshop participants will explore the art of creating the optical illusion of 3 dimensional space. Trompe L'oeil is a painting technique used through out centuries to enhance architecture, decorate furniture and create set design. In this hands-on workshop, we will learn about light and shadow and how it translates to a painted surface. We will learn how to use the tools of the trade such as a “malstick” to paint straight lines without taping or simple rope to create a perspective illusion on the wall. Taught by Vitek Kruta.
