Talk & slide show by Yelena Lembersky: The Art of Felix Lembersky: Insights from his Granddaughter

Jewish artist Felix Lembersky was born in 1913 in Lublin, Poland. He died in Leningrad in 1970. Rooted in the Soviet avant-garde and the Yiddish Kultur-Lige movement, and academically trained in Leningrad, Lembersky melded realist and modernist forms, creating emotionally charged images/metaphors.
