Event Description

Paintings by the important but long-overlooked artist Felix Lembersky (1913-70), whose work was long suppressed for his refusal to conform to the ideology promoted by the Soviet state. Works include landscapes showing the countryside, cities, and factories of his daily life; portraits; and powerful works depicting the Holocaust.
