Linda Bond is a visual artist with former ties to Northampton and now based in the Greater Boston area. In September of 2011, she is presenting her recent drawings and new installation work in an exhibition
that will coincide with the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Much of Bond’s work of the past decade has focused on the U.S. response to these attacks and subsequent involvement in violent events. Using gunpowder as her primary medium, she seeks to transform this means of destruction into a force for creative change.
