Influential Lebanese artist Walid Raad will talk about his work concerning the repercussions of war in the Middle East. His work plays on the boundaries between fact and fiction. Raad is guest artist at the Louvre until the opening of Louvre Abu Dhabi in late 2015, and raises questions of the role of museums in oil-rich countries. A reception will follow the talk at the UMCA.
