Artist Statement/Bio
Maggie Nowinski is a mixed disciplinary visual artist. Her art practice incorporates sculptural installation, drawing, video, sound, painting and photography. She earned a B.F.A in painting from SUNY New Paltz and an M.F.A. in Visual Art in 2007 from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She has worked alone and with artists in New York City and Florence, Italy, has attended multiple artist residencies, and has produced collaborative site-specific installations, most recently with artist Burns Maxey. She is an adjunct professor at various colleges and works in her studio in Western Massachusetts.
