Event Description

The youth of Get Up Get Down (GUGD) created a mural at Food for Thought Books (in 2007) and need your help to touch it up! It's colors have faded and chipped in places- let's keep it bright and beautiful as it's inspired messages remain relevant. Come out and help paint to keep the mural alive! 

GUGD is a program of Youth Action Coalition, a non-profit organization that provides high-qualitiy, free programs that address issues of social justice through the arts. GUGD, based in Amherst, focuses on public art, murals, metal work and other media of interest to youth.
