The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later, an epilogue

Ten years ago today Matthew Shepard died five days after being brutally beaten and left for dead in Laramie, Wyoming by two young men. He was killed because he was gay.

While some strides have finally been made in hate crime legislation, there is work to do. Such heinous acts, such hate cannot be forgotten.

Tonight The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later, an epilogue is being performed in one-hundred cities around the U.S. Locally it is being performed with free admittance at 7:30pm at the Academy of Music in Northampton, MA.

I am not affiliated with the Academy of Music and know no real details, but I know I will be there.
